today's amazing.

Nothing too special going on today... just realizing some different things, slowly... but surely. I got a call back from Howard County today and they want me to update things so that they can go forward with an open contract! Baltimore City gave me one last week and I have until the end of May to decide. Charles County wants me, bad. I want to live close to my family. I have struggled this entire year wondering what else I should have done last May in order to get into Harford. I get compliments on how amazing my references are, how great my GPA is, how awesome my portfolio is. I interview like a pro. Why in the world did I not get a job where I wanted to last year???? I spoke with a wise and trusted friend today who reminded me that "things didn't work out with Harford County last year, because even though they think they were in charge, God was! He wanted you in Frostburg, He wanted you to get married, and He wanted you to get your Master's done. Don't rule out Harford County until you've had your big interview day on Monday!" So, again, I am reminded that GOD HAS BIGGER PLANS......

This also brings to mind something another wise person says, "God is not impressed with your resume." It's NOT about me. And, besides, God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called!!!! The more I need Him, the better off I am.

I am sitting here at work, getting some work done for classes.... I have the iPod on... despite all the confusion, this song came on, and I want to stop worrying about my trivial stuff... everytime I hear this song, I have so much peace and I am reminded of REALITY...
